No decision at Asgiriya

The cricket clash between Trinity College and Royal College in the under 19 inter schools limited over’s Division I tournament Tier “A” at Asgiriya Stadium was effected by wet weather.

The game was delayed to start due to a wet outfield and reduced to 20 overs per side. The match took off to start at 2.32 pm with Royal College winning the toss invited Trinity College to take the first turn. Trinity College coming into bat at their home den faced 10.2 over’s to score 65 runs for 2 wickets with Wathila Udara scoring a unbeaten 31 and Anusha Polonowita bowled 4 overs and took one wicket for 20 runs.

Ramiru Perera in one over took 1 for 5 runs. So the game was halted at 3.25 pm due to rain, so it is a no decision game.
