No place for deal makers to gain political benefits on my side – Sajith
“No matter what happens, we will not rope in people using money as bait and will not allow such people to work with us. We do not have such people on my side,” Opposition and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader MP Sajith Premadasa said. MP Premadasa said this while addressing the media after submitting his nomination papers to the Election Commission to contest the upcoming Presidential Election as the SJB candidate yesterday morning (15).
The SJB Presidential candidate MP Sajith Premadasa expressed his confidence stating that politicians in his Presidential Election
campaign are not those who would be crossing over for political benefits. The SJB Leader said people from his camp will not change sides for soft liquor licences, land permits, various other privileges or money.
Speaking further MP Sajith Premadasa said that as a policy decision, the SJB party does not permit persons making deals related to political benefits while also not allowing persons within the party to make such deals.
He further said that in the event they receive any asset, it will be utilised for the benefit of the citizens of the country.
