The National Police Commission (NPC) yesterday (26) approved six of the seven transfers given by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to seven Senior Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs). The National Police Commission suspended the transfer of the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Southern Province Ajith Rohana to the Eastern Province and temporarily transferred him to the Police Headquarters.

Accordingly, Rohana has been transferred to the Police Headquarters.
