NPP fishing in troubled waters – Indunil

SJB Parliamentarian Thushara Indunil on Wednesday said that NPP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake is trying to fish in trouble waters and time has come for the people to understand the correct picture of the National People’s Power.

He said that the people are facing unprecedented pressure due to the soaring cost of living.“The electricity and water tariffs have been increased in an unprecedented manner. Above all, the government is imposing mare taxes on people”, he said.

However, Indunil said that SJB is a political party with clear vision and it has never and will never involved in undue advantage by making use of the suffering faced by the People. “We will never fish into trouble waters,” he said.

He requested the public not to be misled by the feelings.“They should think and act intelligent at this point of time,” he said.
