NPP names visually impaired as MP

Marking a significant milestone in both political and parliamentary history, the National People’s Power (NPP) has named Sugath Vasantha de Silva, a visually impaired representative, among its 18 National List MPs. De Silva, a retired Social Services Officer, currently serves as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Visually Impaired Graduates’ Association.
