Open verdict on doctor’s death

The post mortem examination on the body of Dr. Amila Sadakelum Dissanayake of the Thambuttegama hospital, who died mysteriously on Tuesday (13), was was conducted yesterday at the Anuradhapura Hospital Anuradhapura Hospital’s Judicial Medical Officer E.G.U.L. Gunaratne gave an open verdict over the death. She has ordered the police to refer the parts of body to the Government Analyst for a report.
