Opposition Leader shedding crocodile tears now – NPP

NPP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday said that the Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa who is harping on about taking action against the corrupt, is sitting next to Lakshman Kiriella and many more such MPs.  

Dissanayake said that the Opposition Leader has not changed his party but he had changed his seat only.

“They are not taking action against the corrupt as they are the godfathers of the corruption in the country”, he said.

He recollected how an MP in the opposition who was wearing a black belt around his hand against the 20th Amendment, voted for the very Amendment in parliament by pressing the button from the other hand.
