4,198 students from Commerce stream obtain 3 ‘A’s
3,622 students from the Arts stream obtain 3 ‘A’s
Over 27,000 fail all three subjects
With the Advanced Level Examination 2022 (2023) results issued on Monday it is revealed that of the total candidates, 9,904 students have obtained As for all three subjects, while 27,158 students have failed (F) all three subjects.
This year 263,933 students have sat the Advanced Level Examination 2022 (2023). Of them 9,904 students have obtained three As in six Advanced Level streams. The percentage obtaining three As is 3.75, while the percentage of students who failed all three subjects is 10.29.
According to the Examinations Department statistics, 40,329 students faced the examination in the Bio Science stream and of them 23,178 have qualified for university admission.
A total of 35,197 students faced the examination in the Physical Science stream and of them 20,138 have qualified for university admission.
A total of 59,114 students faced the examination in the Commerce stream and of them 40,140 students have qualified for university admission. Meanwhile 99,363 students faced the examination in the Arts stream and of them 64,333 students have qualified for university admission.
Furthermore, 16,051 students faced the examination in the Engineering Technology stream and of them 10,633 students have qualifies for university admission.
A total of 8,082 students faced the examination in the Bio System Technology stream and of them 5,981 students have qualified for university admission.
Of the 9,904 students who obtained three As for all three subjects, 4,198 students are reported from the Commerce stream, while 3,622 students are from the Arts stream. The lowest number of three A passes is reported from the Bio System Technology stream and the number is 73.
