PC arrested for house break-in in Uragasmanhandiya

The Elpitiya Divisional Criminal Investigation Division stated that a Police Constable attached to the Sapugaskanda Police who broke into a house in Uragasmanhandiya and robbed Rs. 32,000 has been remanded until October 12. This robbery took place on August 8 and the Constable was evading arrest until last Tuesday (3).

The Police say that he was remanded after being produced before the Elpitiya Magistrate’s Court on last Tuesday.
