People’s Bank Cooperative Society felicitates members’ children

People’s Bank Employees Cooperative Society organised a felicitation ceremony to recognise the excellent academic performances of their children at the ‘Members Children’s Scholarship Award Ceremony 2021/22’ held recently at the Grand Oriental Hotel, Colombo.

Over 110 members’ children who achieved outstanding results in the 2020 and 2021 Year 5 Scholarship Examinations, as well as the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) and Advanced Level (A/L) Examinations, were presented with scholarships.

Additionally, the event featured an educational entertainment programme by popular artiste Rodney Warnakulasuriya and was further enlivened by several singing and dancing acts.

The occasion was graced by the presence of People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka, along with the Corporate and Executive Management of the bank. Also present were the People’s Bank Employees Cooperative Society President Janaka Dissanayake, Secretary Kasun Pathinayake, Acting General Manager of the Cooperative Society Gregory Mendis, Development Officer in Charge of Cooperative Societies Nanda Malani and other officers, as well as a large number of scholarship students and their families.
