Pera Uni Alumni commemorates its late members

The Social and Welfare Sub-Committee of the Alumni Association of Peradeniya University, Colombo Chapter offered an alms giving to the inmates of the Paramitha Elders Home, 59/1, Wanawasala Road, Kelaniya on Friday(19).

This decision taken by the Management Council was meant to bestow merit to all former members and their family members who are no longer with the living, and to pass on blessings to the current members and their families to enjoy good health and longevity.

Dana was offered to fifty inmates, following a Dharmadeshana delivered by a Buddhist priest, states Association’s Secretary Palitha Siyambalapitiya.
