‘Pilisandara’ workshop with actress Dr. Malini Fonseka held

The ‘Pilisandara’ workshop organised by the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya took place on Wednesday (20) at the auditorium of the Social Sciences Faculty, Kelaniya University.

Dr. Malini Fonseka graced the event as the chief guest. The main objective of this programme was to provide valuable guidance to undergraduates, drawing from her life experiences. During this event, the undergraduates showcased a wide range of performances, including dance, singing, and acting, all of which drew inspiration from the life of Dr. Malini Fonseka. Additionally, the participants were given the opportunity to exchange valuable insights and knowledge and seek guidance from the guest.

Kelaniya University Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor Nilanthi De Silva; Kelaniya University Arts Council Chairman Professor Uda Hettige; Social Sciences Faculty Dean Professor M. M. Gunathilake; Humanities Faculty Dean Dr. Sudath Senarath along with other members of the academic and non-academic staff were present.
