PM seeks help from IOM Mission Chief to rescue Sri Lankans stranded in Myanmar

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya discussed with Chief of Mission of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Kristin B. Parco about enhancing cyber security measures to combat cyber fraud and rescue Sri Lankan nationals trafficked to Myanmar on Saturday.

The Prime Minister met the Chief of Mission of the IOM at the Prime Minister’s Office.

National Research and Partnership Officer Madhavie N. Gunawardena, Head of the Protection Unit Minoli P. Don, Prime Minister’s Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri and Foreign Affairs Ministry Director General Dayani Mendis were also present.
