Police fire at bike that defied stop order

Special Task Force personnel have fired at a motorcycle that defied orders to stop near the Kelanimulla bridge in Angoda yesterday evening.

The STF personnel ordered the motorcyclist to stop at the roadblock.

However the motorcyclist has slowed down and sped on the pretext of stopping. STF personnel had fired at the motorcycle thereafter. The STF launched an operation in search of the suspects.
