Police probe on Sub-Inspector’s stolen luggage

The Kalutara Police have started an investigation regarding the theft of the luggage of a Sub-Inspector who was returning home in a public passenger bus after attending a course held at the Kalutara Police Training College. The theft had taken place on the Saturday and according to Kalutara Police, the officer’s Police uniform and law books were also in the stolen suitcase.

The Sub-Inspector, was travelling from Pettah to Akkaripattu.
