Police seeks public assistance to arrest suspects

Police seek the public assistance to arrest two suspects who are wanted in connection with a theft.

Police has issued composite sketch of the suspects.

Based on information and descriptions obtained through complaints received which was drawn up by the forensic artist of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

The sketches has been released to the media by the Police Media Division on 06 December, in a bid to seek public assistance in this regard.

The suspects are accused of threatening the owners of a house in the Nawakkaduwa area in Norochcholai, and looted cash and other valuables worth around Rs. 15,232,000.

Police requests the public to contact Puttalam Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) – 071 859 1289 , Kalpitiya Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) – 071 859 1301 and Norochcholai Officer-In-Charge (OIC) – 071 859 2126 to provide any detail about the said woman.
