President removes Premajayantha as State Minister

Education Reforms, Open Universities and Distance Learning Promotion State Minister Susil Premajayantha has been removed from his state ministerial post with immediate effect, states a press release issued by the Presidential Media Division yesterday.

The decision has been taken as per the powers vested in the President, the release said.
