President to address several public rallies today, tomorrow

A series of successful public rallies featuring the current President and Presidential candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to take place in the coming days. According to the plan, rallies are set to be held today (31) at 11 a.m. near the Bandarawela Temple, at 3 p.m. in Polonnaruwa, at 4 p.m. near the Governor’s Office in Trincomalee and at 5 p.m. at the public grounds in Sammanthurai.

Additionally, a youth discussion for the Eastern Province is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Hizbullah Cultural Hall in Kattankudy. Tomorrow (September 1), rallies are planned at 11 a.m. at the Youth Sports Ground in Vavuniya, at 3 p.m. at the public grounds in Kekirawa, at 4 p.m. at the bus stand in Chilaw and at 5 p.m. in Dompe with President Ranil Wickremesinghe participating in each event.
