President’s maiden election rally in A’pura on August 17

Former Minister S.M. Chandrasena stated that maiden public rally in the election campaign of President Ranil Wickremesinghe for the upcoming Presidential Election will be held on August 17 at the Salgado Stadium in Anuradhapura.

He said the President had revived the country from the socio-economic crisis and the SLPP should have supported him to continue the momentum and achieve further progress.

He also said all stakeholders supporting the President at the upcoming election will participate in the rally.
