Prices of Essential Commodities Reduced

Following the directives of the Ministry of Commerce, Food Security, and Cooperative Development, Lanka Sathosa has announced a price reduction on several essential commodities.

The revised prices will be effective from today (30) across all Lanka Sathosa outlets nationwide.

The new prices are as follows:

Imported big onions: Reduced from Rs. 230 to Rs. 220 per kilo
Bread flour: Reduced from Rs. 175 to Rs. 165 per kilo
White sugar: Reduced from Rs. 240 to Rs. 235 per kilo
Red lentils: Reduced from Rs. 288 to Rs. 285 per kilo
Imported red lentils: Reduced from Rs. 210 to Rs. 209 per kilo

Consumers can now benefit from these price reductions at all Lanka Sathosa outlets.
