Pseudo-socialists will not be able to take the country for a ride again – MP Gayantha Karunathilake
“The people who turned politics into a gambling and created divisions within Parties when they were in power, are now facing the consequences of their actions,” said MP Gayantha Karunathilake.
He stressed this while addressing a press conference held in the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Head Office on Sunday (4).
He further stated, those who turned politics into a gambling are now embroiled in infighting, dividing into two factions – one supporting President Wickremesinghe and the other supporting Rajapaksa.
Every survey indicates that despite the President’s collaboration with the SLPP over the past two years, he and his Party have not gained significant popularity.
The SJB believes that the people of this country will not be deceived by pseudo-socialism again, as they were previously misled by false patriotism.
The citizens of this country are well aware of which political Party is engaged in excessive money pumping, pouring enormous amounts of money into the upcoming election.
SJB stands as the sole Party representing all ethnicities in this country, and the most capable individuals who can offer solutions to the issues in this country are aligned with Sajith Premadasa.
