RDB Bank promotes digital technology among customers
RDB Bank continues to drive the adoption of digital technology among its entrepreneurial customer community, with a particular focus on supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
As part of its efforts to transition towards a cashless society, the bank introduced the ‘RDB QR’ facility to 5,000 shops across the island, recently. Furthering its commitment to fostering digital literacy, RDB recently organised a programme at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Auditorium in Matale. The initiative aimed to enhance awareness among entrepreneurs about leveraging digital technology for online business transactions, empowering SMEs to embrace innovative solutions for growth and efficiency. District manager of RDB Bank, Matale, Ishanthi Wickramasinghe and staff was organise the event and Chief Manager of Dialog Sri Lanka Sameera Wijeyratne and his team participated as resource person.
