Religious Observances Organized by Ven. Dr. Kirinde Assaji Nayaka Thera

A series of religious observances organised by Ven. Dr. Kirinde Assaji Nayaka Thera was held yesterday at Gangaramaya Temple, Hunupitiya, Colombo, to celebrate the 80th birthday of Ven. Dr. Galboda Gnanissara Nayaka Thera, Chief Sanghanayaka of the Colombo Aluth Korale. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Transport, Highways and Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana and the delegates who participated in the eighth South China Sea Buddhism Roundtable in Colombo also participated in the religious activities.
