Removing taxes made economic woes worse – SJB

Chief Opposition Whip and SJB MP Lakshman Kiriella said that if the government cannot find solutions to the country’s problems, what they should do is hand over the country to a group that can resolve the problems.

He said further that the SJB has no intention of establishing a government through change of heads but by going to the people and holding an election.

 So, he said that what the government should now do is to conduct an election and see whom the people prefer. Kiriella expressed these views at a media briefing in Kandy yesterday (4).
