Royal ‘C’ and Lyceum, Wattala joint champions

Royal College Colombo ‘C’ and Lyceum International School Wattala declared joint champions of the Under 15 division 3 inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.

Final match between Royal College Colombo ‘C’ and Lyceum International School Wattala ended without a result due to heavy rain at Ananda Sastralaya Kotte yesterday.

Royal College Colombo bagged three titles in the same series division One, Two and Three. Royal College Colombo ‘A’ emerged champion of the under 15 division One tournament. Royal College Colombo ‘B’ emerged champion of the under 15 division Two tournament. Royal College Colombo ‘C’ emerged champion of the under 15 division Three tournament.

Upali Amarathunga, Director of Physical Education and Sports (Ministry of Education), R. Ruwanpathirana, Deputy Director of Physical Education and Sports (Ministry of Education), Princy Rathnayake, deputy principal Lyceum International School Wattala, Suranga Ranathunge, Tournament Secretary (U15) of Sri Lanka School Cricket Association participated at the awards ceremony.
