Rukmini Kodagoda Trophy Junior Match Play Championship from August 21 to 24

The Royal Colombo Golf Club is gearing up for the highly anticipated Sri Lanka Junior Match Play Championship for the Rukmini Kodagoda Memorial Trophy, sponsored by Perera & Sons Ltd, commencing from August 21 to 24.

With the excitement building, young golfers from four age categories are set to showcase their talents and vie for honors during the four-day championship. Practice rounds are scheduled on August 20 to fine-tune their skills ahead of the intense competition.

An impressive lineup of approximately 65 juniors, including last week’s Regional Junior Open champions determined through knockout matches, is expected to grace the event.

The action will kick off on August 21 with the Qualifying Medal Round, followed by the Plate Medal Round on the subsequent day. Meanwhile, non-qualifiers will get their chance to shine during the Medal Round on August 23.

The climax of the championship will culminate in the Final Round on August 24, where the best of the best will compete for the prestigious title.
