Sachendra Ramesh wins 10,000 metres event

Former Prince of Wales’ College Moratuwa Champion Athlete and Long Distance runner and school athletic and games captain 2015 Sachendra Ramesh won the 10,000 metres event at the Youth National Festival meet 2021 held recently at Sugathadasa Stadium Colombo by clocking 33 minutes and 20 seconds. Last year too he won the same event held at Anuradhapura with a timing of 33 minutes and 34 seconds. He is coached by Chaminda Perera.
