Third year coloursman, right hand top order bat and right arm medium pace bowler, under 13 and 15 captain, twice Best Batsman at Big Matches, under 13 rugger captain and this year’s first eleven cricket captain Porage Don Sethika Dilmith has brought honour and glory to his Alma Mater Piliyandala Central College with his deeds in the fields of cricket and rugger. Dilmith who hails from Kesbewa, Piliyandala was born on third Ferbruary 2005 and initially admitted to the grade one of

Primary School, Piliyandala and in 2016 he was drafted to his present school. When he was in grade six he commenced rugger and in the following year he captained the under 13 team. Though he played rugger his parents Dhammika Chandrarathne and
Indra Kumari realizing that their son’s forte is cricket handed over him to under 13 cricket coach Amil Senadeera. In his first year he was selected to under 13 division one team and scored 280 runs with five fifties and claimed 12 wickets, and in his second year he captained the team and collected 230 runs with three half centuries.
In his first year is scored 240 runs with three fifties and his second year there was no cricket due to corona virus but he was appointed as the under 15 captain. Then in 2021 too there was no sports activities and in 2022 he was a unanimous choice for the first eleven team and he scored 220 runs with two fifties and carried away the Best Batsman’s Award in the Big Match with their arch rivals Taxila Central Horana. And in the following year he collected 974 runs with four centuries and seven fifties and at the Big Match he won the Best Batsman’s Award for the second time. Same year at the one day tournament he scored 342 runs with five fifties. This year he was appointed as the captain and in the one day tournament he got 172 runs and grabbed 12 scalps and out of eight matches they won four and reached up to the quarter finals and his former coach was former Cambrian Eranga Gunaratna and this year the coach is Asanka.
