Seven Indians in factory suffer burn injuries from molten iron

Seven Indian nationals working in an iron factory located on Kahathuduwa Diyagama Road were admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital with burn injuries after molten iron liquid spilled out of an iron smelting boiler pit. Kahathuduwa Police said that there was a woman among the seven.

Senior Superintendent of Police Mangala Dehideniya said that they are Sikhs. SSP Dehideniya further mentioned that only Indians work in this factory and iron wire is produced in it.
