Shooting reported in Ambalangoda: 28-year-old killed

A 28-year-old man was shot and killed by two unknown assailants during a house party in the Sunamiwatta area of Ambalangoda earlier today (27), police said.

The victim, a resident of Galaboda, was taken to Balapitiya Hospital but died while receiving treatment.

Police have not revealed a motive, but they suspect a pistol-type firearm was used. Ambalangoda Police are conducting investigations to apprehend the suspects. (NewsWire)
