SJB election manifesto will be released on August 22

Former Kalutara District Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), MP Ajith P. Perera predicted that an SJB Government will be definitely instituted in this country after September 22 and the party manifesto will be released on August 22 at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI), Colombo.

Addressing a media briefing the former MP said the manifesto will highlight the SJB’s future economic development plans with the sole objective of appointing the SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa as the next President of the country.

He said all SJB members have a clear vision to develop this country and bring an economic prosperity to our Nation.

Ajith Perera further said the SJB leader’s first effort is to bring down the cost- of- living for the benefit of the people. He said the SJB leader has also a clear vision to develop the education of schoolchildren and also the health sector in the country.

“This was already proved by the SJB leader with the launching of both ‘Sakwala’ digital equipment distribution and the ‘Husma’ medical equipment distribution programmes,” he said.

He further said the digital equipment distribution programme will be continued until all schools get computers and digital smart boards. Ajith Perera further said the SJB will also setup free English Language learning centres in all districts since the knowledge of English is immensely important to our youth to find both local and foreign employment opportunities.

He said, therefore people should consider to whom they would give their consent at the forthcoming Presidential Election.
