SJB MP Dr. Rajitha Senaratne extends support to President

Kalutara District Member of Parliament from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Dr. Rajitha Senaratne has announced his unconditional support to ensure the victory of President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming Presidential Election.

Dr. Rajitha Senaratne expressed his support for the President by signing an official statement yesterday (13) at Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Senaratne said that he will extend his unconditional support to the President for rebuilding the country and President’s victory at the forthcoming election is a foregone conclusion.

“The Opposition Leader told me that he is ready to give me and my son Chathura Senaratne whatever we want. I love Premadasa but I love my country more than any other, he said.

Dr. Senaratne said that he has a right to protect the country for posterity. “My endeavour is to protect the country for younger generation and get the country out of poverty”, he said.

He said he will be committed to ensure the President’s victory at the election. “By September 22, Ranil wickremesinghe will be the president by obtaining millions of votes. Chief Incumbent of Gangaramaya Ven.Kirinde Assaji Thera, Chief Incumbent of Abhayaramaya Ven.Muruththetuwe Ananda Thera were also present.
