SJB protest: Water cannons, tear gas fired to disperse

The police have fired tear gas and used water cannons to disperse the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) protesters near the public library in Colombo.

Joined by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, SJB MPs and supporters, it was organized by the main opposition in protest of the conduct of the government
