Opposition Leader and SJB Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa said yesterday that the Samagi Jana Sandhanaya unveiled a people-friendly manifesto that will help to recover the country from the bankruptcy by eliminating fraud, corruption, waste and poverty. He also mentioned that this is a community-centric programme which was brought to build the country where all can live in happiness and peace with the blessings of the relic of the tooth of Lord Buddha and Maha Sangha. This is a win-win for everyone brought under the theme of “A win for all”.

He further said that the manifesto was prepared by a committee composed of experts, professionals, scholars and intellectuals based on their grassroot level suggestions.

Addressing the 25th rally of the Samagi Jana Balavegaya in Pugoda for the Presidential election, the Samagi Jana Sandanaya Presidential Candidate and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that he pledged in front of Dalada Maligawa in Kandy that a new era protecting the people by eliminating the corruption, fraud, theft and bribery operating from the top down in this country would be created on September 21.

He added that he will implement the “win for all” policy statement with the support of the most talented group rallying with him to build the country. This is an important policy that gives strength to all the people in the society like farmers, fishermen, women, young and old and this will become a reality on earth after he won the Presidential election on September 21. The current government has almost failed and it is still unable to provide a solution to the passport issue. He said that poverty will be eradicated by going through a middle path through his policy and a proud and respectable country where proper livelihoods are available for all will be built.
