SJB will write off farmer loans, provide fuel subsidies – Sajith

SJB Presidential Candidate Sajith Premadasa said a future SJB government will write off farmers’ crop loans, will provide a fuel subsidy to farmers, fishermen, three-wheeler owners, school bus owners and rice mill owners.  He was speaking at an SJB election rally in Anuradhapura area recently.

Arrangements are being made to provide 50 kg fertilizer bundles for Rs.5000 for the farmers, he added.He also said a SJB government will provide a proper sustainable solution to the elephant-human conflict.

“We will also prepare a national land usage plan. Also, we are working towards community-centered wildlife conservation and developing it in a way that strengthens the tourism industry,” he added.
