SL Embassy participates at YWCA Diplomatic Charity Bazaar

The Sri Lankan Embassy and Permanent Mission in Thailand participated in the 69th YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association) Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, held from November 7 to 10 at Central World, Bangkok.

Showcasing authentic Sri Lankan craftsmanship and premium products, the Embassy highlighted handicrafts from the National Crafts Council, Ceylon cinnamon from Excellensa Impex Pvt Ltd, and Ceylon Tea from K Square Lanka Pvt. Ltd.

The exhibition attracted significant interest, with Sri Lanka’s unique products promoted on local TV channels. YWCA Bangkok and a well-known Thai lifestyle YouTuber also conducted a special interview with Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, further enhancing awareness of Sri Lankan culture and exports.

The Embassy’s participation underscored Sri Lanka’s commitment to fostering cultural and trade ties with Thailand while supporting the charitable initiatives of the YWCA.
