SL participates in Grassroots Economy Products Exhibition

At the invitation extended to Sri Lanka by the Secretariat of the Senate of Thailand, the Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok joined the Grassroots Economy Products Exhibition at the Thai Parliament on September 26 and 27 on the occasion of the Fourth Anniversary of Senators ‘Meet the People Project’.

The President of the Senate Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, Vice-Presidents of the Senate Singsuk Singpai and Suphachai Somcharoen, former President/Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand Chuan Leekpai, Senators and members of the National Assembly admired the products displayed at the Sri Lanka stall.

The products were offered by the National Crafts Council, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Industrial Development Board, Ranfer Teas and Eswaran Brothers Exports. Ceylon Tea was also served at the Sri Lanka booth.
