SLFP-led new alliance to hold public rally on July 14

The public rally organised by the new alliance led by Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) will be held on July 14, at 2.00 pm, at Wills Park in Badulla under the theme ‘Dinuma Ratata – Ekwa Perata’.

This rally is organised by Ports, Shipping and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva and State Minister for Primary Industries Chamara Sampath.

With the initiation of the new alliance, rallies have already been held covering the Gampaha, Colombo, Hambantota, and Monaragala districts.

The new alliance led by the SLFP has made arrangements to hold rallies covering all the districts. Parliamentarian Nimal Lanza said that the new alliance is getting stronger day by day with the supports of various political parties, trade unions, and civil organizations.

Ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera, Susil Premajayantha and Nalin Fernando, State Ministers Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Jagath Pushpakumara and Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, Parliamentarians Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and Nimal Lanza, former Parliamentarians, provincial council members, local council members, trade union representatives and civil society activists are scheduled to participate in this rally.
