SP Governor to resign from May 2

Southern Province Governor Dr. Willie Gamage has handed over his letter of resignation effective May 2, to the President’s Secretary, sources close to the Governor said.

He had reportedly sent the letter on April 8. According to sources close to Gamage, he will not engage in political activities or accept portfolios in the future.
