Sri Lanka Wins Silver Medal at the Asian Youth Athletics Championship

Tushen Silva secured the silver medal at the men’s pole vault event at the Under-18 Asian Youth Athletics Championship held in Uzbekistan, marking a performance of 4.7 meters. 

 

This marks a historic achievement since Sri Lanka won a medal in the pole vault event in an Asian tournament after 72 years.
