Sri Maha Bodhi sapling planting at Thun Bodhiya

A sapling of sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya will be planted at the Thun Bodhiya premises in Bolgoda, Alubomulla on Thursday at 8.35 a.m.

Hundreds of Buddhist devotees visit the Thun Bodhiya premises located near the Bolgoda bridge on the Panadura-Horana Road. The Sacred Bo sapling will be taken in procession to the Thun Bodhiya premises from Sri Sudarshanarama temple and the devotes are requested to participate in the ceremony
