Sri Pada season ends today

Chief Incumbent of Sri Pada and Chancellor Uva Wellassa University Ven. Bengamuwe Dhammadinna Thera yesterday said that the Sri Pada season will end today (05) midnight.

 

The Thera said that the Sri Pada season will end after taking the Sacred Relics and Deva Aabarana (Ornaments) to the Galpoththawela Sri Pada Rajamaha Viharaya from the Uda Maluwa. “These sacred items will be at the temple until the next season begins,” the Tehra said.
