Student dead after plastic bottle clash in Ampara

A grade eight student of the Thambiluvil Maha Vidyalaya in Ampara has reportedly died after he was attacked with a plastic water bottle by one of his classmates during a clash between them yesterday.

The deceased 13-year-old Shivapalan Krimashan was a resident of Thambiluvil Division 1, Thirukkovil Police said. The body of the student is kept at the Ampara Hospital where the post mortem is to be held today.Thirukkovil Police conducting investigations into the incident on the supervision of Ampara Senior Superintendent of Police.
