Christ King College JaEla advanced to the quarter final of the Under 17 division two inter schools cricket tournament on Wednesday by beating. Karandeniya Central by221 runs in the pre quarter final at Jaela on Wednesday

Sharith Sudeena, left hand top order batter of Christ King College Ja Ela made third century in this season. He scored 194 runs in 114 balls with 16 boundaries and 16 sixes. Right hand opener Ryan Sachintha scored his second century this season. He scored 110 runs in 75 deliveries with 17 boundaries and 4 sixes.

This tournament is being conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with the collaboration of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Christ King College JaEla won the toss and elected to bat first. Christ King Ja Ela scored 422 runs in 49.1 overs.
