Suryashakthi to invest Rs 2.2 Bn on 10 MW solar project

WindForce PLC announced that on May 31, 2024 Suryashakthi (Pvt) Limited signed a power purchase agreement for the development of the 10MW Vavunathivu II Solar Power Project in Batticaloa.

The Vavunathivu II Solar Power Project is expected to attract an investment of approximately Rs. 2.2 billion. Suryashakthi (Pvt) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar Universe (Pvt) Limited, a joint venture between Vidullanka PLC, WindForce PLC and HiEnergy Services (Pvt) Ltd. The companies will post further announcements after commissioning of the project.
