Suspect who sold narcotics to schoolchildren held

Horowpothana Police has arrested a 50-year-old suspect who sold narcotics to schoolchildren with two kilogrammes and 100 milligrams of the narcotic Thule in Horovpathana.

This suspect runs a furniture shop in Horowpothana town and is a resident of the same area. Based on information received, a Police team had inspected this shop. The team had managed to find the 80 packets of Thule which were carefully hidden in the shop.

Police investigations have confirmed that this suspect was selling these drugs to school students at a price of Rs. 500 per packet. The Police are further investigating the incident.
