Teenager found dead at tea estate
The body of a 17-year-old girl has been found at a tea estate on Nanayakkara Mawatha in Elpitiya, said the police.
The deceased girl (Hansika Nadishani) is resident of Talgahawatta area of Mandakanda, Karandeniya.
It is revealed that a group of people who arrived in a three-wheeler has taken the girl forcibly yesterday from Karandeniya, Thalgahawatte.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Elpitiya Police.
