Three arrested for bank fraud

Three persons involved in stealing money from bank accounts by deceiving the account holders and activating their online bank accounts have been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department. The suspects are residents of Pitabeddara and Deniyaya. The CID stated that the suspects visit the houses of wealthy persons and obtain their bank details by producing fake documents.

Later, they activate those accounts for internet banking services and get the secret numbers, transfer the money in the accounts to other accounts.
