Three injured in Walasmulla shooting, former police officer arrested

Three members of the same family were injured and admitted to the Walasmulla Hospital yesterday (21) night in the Yahalmulla in Modarawana, Walasmulla following a shooting by a former police officer. The injured are in the age group of 28 and 65 and they have been admitted to hospital. The shooting took place as a result of an argument between the two groups regarding the laying of a water pipe in a private land.

The shooting was done by a former police officer and the suspect police officer has been arrested by the police.
