Thurstan College Founder’s Day Oration on Saturday

The 75th Founder’s Day Oration of Thurstan College, Colombo organised by its Old Boy’s Union together with Principal, the staff and students will be held on Saturday (11) at the College’s Main Hall at 8 a.m.

Former Surveyor General Sarath Jayathilake, an Old Thurstanite will deliver the Founder’s Day Oration.

A series of other activities have been also organised as the 75th anniversary of the Thurstan College falls on the same day. These include issuing of a commemorative stamp by the Postal Department and felicitating of Old Thurstanites who have excelled in their respective fields and the launch of Thurstan History Book authored by Commodore (Rtd.) Dr. Lanka Prasada.
